Her specialty is Applied Kinesiology (AK), the chiropractic technique that focuses on the Triad of Health—structural, emotional and nutritional aspects of health. She has completed over 200 post graduate hours in AK, 200 hours of Touch for Health, and advanced training with Donna Eden to complement her formal study.

Dr. Reed started a six-month intensive training in Internal Health with the Food Enzyme Institute in 2007. The intensive training includes a detailed analysis of the visceral systems of the body and what is needed to restore health and normal function.

She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She has worked in the sports field for over 20 years coaching, teaching, training, and managing fitness facilities. She has worked in safety and ergonomics in both office and manufacturing settings. She focuses her treatment on educating her patients on proper nutrition and exercises to support their spine and nervous system.

My Approch

My Approach

Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology taught me that no two people are alike. I chose the name “Blueprint for Health” to emphasize that

each patient has a unique path and course of action needed to achieve his or her own optimal health.

My first career was primarily corporate management in fitness, health and safety. Realizing that I wanted to help people achieve quality health sent me on this journey. I started practicing in August 2000. In 2007 I had the good fortune to attend a continuing education course taught by Dr. Howard Loomis. The course opened my eyes to the missing link – enzymes. My continuous extensive study with Dr. Loomis and the Food Enzyme Institute has allowed me to help my patients reach a maintenance status versus chronic care status.  People can get well if the cause of the stress is identified and then treatment ensues to rectify it.

Symptoms are simply the way you know you are not meeting your body’s energy needs. None of us needs to live with pain, digestive stress, and low energy if we are willing to remove the causes of stress and restore normal function through exercise and enzyme nutrition.

Testimonials

Dr. Jackie is simply the best. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and skilled.

Going Forward in Georgia

In Georgia I will be applying for a Georgia Chiropractic license as well as maintaining my Missouri license.  I plan to be available for phone and zoom consults regarding enzymes, nutrition, blood labs and other diagnostic results or treatment options.  Patients will be able to order enzymes and supplements with me or their new hands-on provider if available.  My staff has worked hard to ensure that you have what you need until I am more settled in my new home office, but please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email.  I am looking forward to setting up a learning platform that can enrich the health and wellness of my patients as well as myself.  I hope you will consider joining me on this new chapter.

The Carla Cunningham Foundation

In 1985, Carla Cunningham became a founding partner of Meramec Counseling. After her passing In 2000 a group of Carla’s friends and family set up a not-for-profit foundation known as The Carla Cunningham Foundation. She had helped create the Women’s Another Chance Program through Zonta International and always had great compassion for single mothers who struggle to better themselves and their families by returning to school.  We thought it fitting to follow in the tradition that was truly hers.

The purpose of The Carla Cunningham Foundation is to sponsor scholarships for single mothers who are trying to further their education. In 2008, governance of the foundation was transferred to Harris-Stowe College to fund a scholarship in Carla’s name.
